ABOUT

After living abroad for over seven years, I returned to Australia with extensive experience in the tech industry, where I developed a strong foundation in content strategy and UX writing. During my time at Wix, I worked across global product teams creating user-focused content, onboarding documentation, knowledge bases, and product tone of voice while collaborating closely with designers, developers, and product managers.

Alongside my UX work, my background in marketing and social media has allowed me to support a range of businesses with content marketing, community engagement, brand campaigns and growth and website development. Most recently, I also co-founded and built a consumer product brand, giving me hands-on experience across branding, marketing, partnerships, and business strategy.

I am now seeking opportunities that allow me to continue growing professionally within the Australian and global market. What I did: I monitored social media analytics and campaign performance to understand audience behaviour and engagement patterns. These insights helped refine content strategies and improve future marketing initiatives.

UX EXPERIENCE

​

  • Leading UX Writing for Wix Restaurants: I contributed to the user experience of Wix Restaurants, crafting clear copy (with the Wix tone and voice) for restaurant owners and customers, helping to enhance the overall booking, ordering, and menu management experience.

  • Onboarding UX Writers: I was responsible for onboarding new UX writers, created training materials for them and would then do one-on-one or group sessions. I ensured they understood Wix's style guide, how to work with localisation, create clear documentation of their work and so on. This was in my first 3 years in the company and UX team. 

  • Collaboration: I worked closely with the UX designers, product managers, developers, analysts and other stakeholders to ensure that the my copy aligned with the product goals and would deliver the best user experience for our end users and their customers if required.

    •  I would also work with other UX writers at Wix to do peer reviews or to collaborate on cross-company products. I learnt so much as a writer by doing this and also allowed me to work on other products aside from just Restaurants, including email marketing, photography, ecommerce and more.

  • User/Competitor Research: I would conduct user interviews - both in person or online, do A/B testing, or be part of focus groups. I would also do competitor research. 

  • Attention to Detail and consistency: Every word I would write was carefully considered, and sometimes go through iterations until it looked, sounded and felt right. Again we would often test this before final rollout. I also ensure my work is consistent across the product itself and company.

  • Understanding of Product Features: I made sure to have a deep understanding of the product I work on and become a user of it. I feel by being a user I am better able to understand the users and connect to what I am working on and the goals.

  • Clear & Concise Communication: I excel in writing short, direct copy that communicates key actions and benefits to users without unnecessary jargon or ‘fluff’ as we’d call it, making it easy to understand espcially for first-time users.

  • User-Centric Approach: I always put the user first, addressing their pain points, preferences, and emotional needs—making complex features feel intuitive and approachable.

  • Focus on Accessibility: I worked closely with accessibility teams to ensure the work I did was accessible.

  • Localisation: Aside from onboarding for localisation, I also worked with localisation teams and products to ensure the best results for localising the text.
