SERVICE FEES

Service fees is a product that is linked with the Online Ordering product.

This feature was a top 5 feature request and had been a blocker for many of our restaurant users when it came to using our online ordering system.

This feature was crucial for some of our users. In states like Colorado and Washington in the USA, there are mandatory additional fees on certain orders by regulation - e.g., for disposable dishes, bags or utensils. Users will now be able to set additional surcharges on their orders, defining rules to add customizable fees for all orders, orders of specific subtotal, or orders fulfilled in a certain way. 

Examples of what users can do with 'Service fees':

• Set a fixed fee on all orders being delivered, e.g. to comply with Colorado state regulations

• Set a fixed fee on large orders, to help cover operational costs or costs lost due to Covid

• Set a small percentage fee on all curbside pickup orders, to cover the operational costs of bringing the order to the customer's car
